Iran sucked it up this year at the cup.

Actually all the middle east teams were a disgrace to the cup this year!

in 2002 during qualifing ireland was undefeated and they had a couple top teams like holland and spain in their group i believe who advanced.

Ireland had alot of ties and wins but 0 loses and then iran beat them 1-0 even tho it was too little too late they said iran was considered a powerfull team by irelands coach and media that they defeated a team that never los e to great top teams such as holland.
