What’s even better...::::. They came out with the order on a Thursday night around 8:30 pm and it went into effect the following morning. Like any business was going to be ready to take all employees temperature within a matter of hours.
I see lawsuits coming. People are denied entry because they had a temperature but no covid!
Let’s just make things easy and put a barcode on each of us and just track us that way.

I’d be denied entry from everywhere. My basal tends to hover around 99-100 unless I’m cutting hard, and usually spikes to 101-102 for an hour or two after eating.

Actually, in some places it is the law- like where I am- and enforceable with up to $1200 fine.
There is an Order from the local government that people must HAvE a face covering with them, and when going into any business they must be wearing it or when less than 6’ from anyone outside.
Businesses are also required to take all employees temperature daily. If greater than 100.4 then they are not to be admitted into the facility.

Most every law enforced on NYC streets is local law, for example drinking on the street, tresspassing in the park after dark, etc... Get cuffed and taken to jail if you have no ID for a summons. No involvement by congress whatsoever.

You want them in those hospitals, you need them in those hospitals. They use words like honor, code, loyalty, and you’re using their sacrifice as some punchline for your freedom gun-toting rallies. They would rather you would say thank you and be on your way. Charger - are you sure you didnt go to school with gearhead? What does setting a record do with having enough? I could be saving money to buy a house costing $700,000. Every day I could be saving a few dollars more than the day before. I could be setting records every day, and yet still never save enough in years to buy the house.

Just think about it. Why can’t people get time sensitive operations? It’s not because of testing, but rather politics. IMO.
I was able to get a test within a day, but it took 2 fucking weeks to get the director of the hospital to approve my time sensitive operation.
No disrespect, but I have actually been through the situation and have been in a hospital about 10 times in the past month.

I respect the people that use a mask and actually need to enforce it because of the county order at work. I personally disagree.

It’s because they want as few non-Covid people in the hospital, as to protect them from exposure. Don’t you have other conditions that might be factored in as pre-existing conditions making you potentially more susceptible. Your weight also puts you into the obese category, plain & simple. The doctor has to clear these hurdles with his superiors.

Good luck with your surgery, hopefully you’ll spend as little time there as possible.

Charger, the testing capacity is improving, but again there are regional discrepancies, ok? I’ve said this, just like I’ve said there now needs to be a varied approach to reducing the stay at home policies. Ournumbers are still climbing. My wife and others will be treating out-patients this week, because of the push to open things up, some of that is due to the freedom and rights protests and rhetoric. To know for sure as a care giver, you would have to have tests for everyone. That’s frightening & unfair to the caregiver, these what if’s. Temperature taking is not a sure thing in determining if a patient is infected. However at this time to have everyone tested prior to coming into therapy (or other services) is simply not in place, nor could that have been anticipated and planned for prior.

I'm not the leader of anything on this board .. I just know this board is filled with really good guys, quality people, and people that respect each other.
you've been here a short time and have been fairly disrespectful on a lot of occasions to several different people. guys see that. thats why I'm saying your likely not going to get much help (thats just a guess on my part, nothing more).


on a side note -- its going to start with a bit of 'crushing pressure' type of feeling. like something is heavy on your chest. then your heart rate is going to start ramping up and beating fast. then your going to start to worry and get anxious. then your going to think it feels difficult to breath (even though your o2 level will be just fine)..
then your going to think about me . depending on what those thoughts are , I may or may not stop squeezing your doll
