Yeah, my past isn't laden with boy scout medals either bro, but I know that's still a reflection of who I am.

I know what you're saying.... People's history can be a reflection but I feel it can't be who they truly are. What I am saying is I am no longer a bad person with constant evil intentions of me me and me and fukk anyone.... I would LOVE to change my past BUT I can't and must live with the consequences and realize I may not be the same goal oriented person I am today with what I have learned through the good and the bad.

this may be the case for you but not for everyone.

i have witnessed true change in those closest to me as well as myself. change brought about by terminal illness, incarceration and religion.

maybe my core beliefs never changed the whole time I was doing those things; was just confused and in a haze... didn't know what i truly wanted and was lashing out. until bodybuilding found me... I was blessed in finding something that could keep me so focused on every aspect of my lifestyle in order not to become that evil person I once was or was becoming.

Like to me and others being that bad person and the activity that goes along with it seemed cool and made you feel accepted. The media, music, etc paints mob like activities as "cool" or "thrilling"

After all the stuff that went down I got into weight training and wouldn't do anymore of those activities but would brag about them to make others think I'm cool or to get accepted... Maybe you think 'well I don't give a damn what people think' but deep down you do... I can see it in you. You are a good person ernst whether you think it or not... regardless of religion, politics, 'core beliefs' and all of that other crap we create

You want something bad enough you gotta work for it not wish for it... I see a ton of people that want the same dreams I have... From the in town models to bodybuilders but they go out on the weekends get drunk etc etc and never truly focus... They ask me what I do and I tell them... They then come up with
'well I still wanna have a life' and I say "My goals are my life' and thats a big difference in my attitude and who will more than likely will succeed.

life is rough but sometimes what you need is someone to get real with you and show you the situation for what it is and not to sugar coat it so you can then fall back in that hole by making it seem not 'as bad'

Now we fight like dogs and she's declared herself a born again lesbian because all of her ex's and I are apparently worthless bastards. I live with this chick so my drama free zone has totally been torched. She is no longer trying to impress and has become jealous and rude, is constantly baked, and just completely unpleasant to be around. Just peachy.

I think a lot of the issues with you and most women in relationships of such can be stemmed from society as we mostly have the idea that women should be submissive. Also the desperation to be with any man for fear of being alone as some women think they may lose social status without being married or in a relationship.
