    I'd love to have both systems eventaully but God of War 3 is what sold me on a system. And MGS 4 for the time being.

    Only game I'm interested in on 360 is Forza.

    Did you get the Ninja Gaiden Sigma demo? The game is in 1080p and looks great.

    The free demo is on the PS3 store. When I started the game I thought holly shit! So far I think it's the smoothest best looking game I've played.

    Spiderman 3 for PS3 is out this Friday. I'm am def getting that.

    Where are you getting your info? Here are sales numbers. There was a bump in HD DVD sales the week of April 3rd-10th. The AVS forum held a buy an HD DVD day during those weeks to increase sales numbers.

    i just found out that EB games are doing trade ins for an elite(from a premium console) for 230 bucks or something like that...so i guess it looks like im upgrading after all.

    Now that you look at this XBOX game you can tell how much better the graphics are becoming with the XBOX 360 and the PS3. I hope the XBOX 360 comes out with this game or any Ninja Gaiden game, I've always been a fan of this game since the Nintendo days. The gameplay looks awesome.

    Rockstar says Microsoft's console is limiting the game's progress.

    May 3, 2007 - Lately we've seen several examples of publishers and developers favoring the Xbox 360 over the PlayStation 3. Some developers have complained that the PS3 is difficult to develop for, and top publishers have been making previously Sony-exclusive games available on Microsoft's console, where the install base is much higher. But one high-profile developer is sticking up for the PS3.

    An interview with the UK's Official PlayStation Magazine reveals that Rockstar's creative VP Dan Houser believes the 360 is impairing the development of Grand Theft Auto IV. According to the magazine's online partner, Computer and Videogames, Houser says the lack of a guaranteed hard drive and the smaller storage space of the DVD format is limiting the game's progress. In contrast, all PS3s have a built-in hard drive and the console's Blu-Ray format can hold about five times as much content as DVD.

    They have more studio support 7 of the 9 studios(HD DVD only has 4 of the 9)
    Blu-ray media is out selling HD-DVD...
    Blu-ray has better specs.. Storage is bigger and a higher bit rate..

    Carlos, Wal-Mart selling HD cheap players is not a rumor. Wal-Mart made a statement saying they do not disclose orders with the public... I mean think about it, do you really think companies with whom they place $100 million orders to announce their strategic marketing plans? But what is in question is... is it a HD-DVD player or a Blu-ray player??? because now no one is sure.. See link

    Yeah yeah yeah..... You convinced me to hold off on buying it already. Im not happy though!

    Plus I just found out a bunch of cool stuff my XBOX can do that I was unaware of. I can download movies and use the 360 as a media extender, playing the movies on my TV in HD quality. Pretty cool stuff. Complicated, but Im getting the hang of it.
