I need to conjure up all the women in this forum and get them to send my sister a 'FFS LIFT HEAVIER THAN A 5KG DUMBELL' card. That girl worked out with me in January, was doing a push day and she said she didn't want to get bulky so refused to lift 'heavy'.

I don't think she realised how much she insulted myself and the vast majority of lifters that are trying to get bulky/bigger lol.

    /end rant

Not sure what an 'FFS' is but couldn't agree more about it getting irritating to hear women say...'I don't like this, I don't like that, how do I work on this or that, I do classes...etc etc etc' then I tell them to pick up some weight if they really want to see changes...of course they say 'I don't want to get big or be manly'...the blank look on my face says it all...'f.off, look all saggy and enjoy your cardio', the end. It's taken almost 2 years for this body to add just a tiny bit of size and it's nowhere near bulky yet. Whatever, have to walk away now. Not worth wasting energy arguing the point anymore.

Haven't been on in a while, hope everyone is doing well!

My work schedule is a little crazy and it's certainly been a challenge for me to maintain my lifting schedule, but I've been pretty successful. I can say that I was doing great until I started working some shifts til 2 and 3 am and I instantly caught a cold. took 5 days off which wasn't productive, but it was what I needed to get better. I just figured I'd update what I've got going on so far.

I didn't lose any strength with that time off thankfully. Today was my first squat day back after that week off.

    Squats
    3x6 - 155lbs
    5 singles of 185

    Sumo Deadlift
    2x6 - 215lbs
    1x3 - 235lbs
    1 single of 270lbs

    20 minutes treadmill

I'm wrapping up my 9th week of 10 and I'm sitting at 158lbs. I've been able to lean out a bit more than I thought I would and I've gotten a little more solid all over. I've seen the most growth in my back, chest, and lower body. Like I said when I started this, my goal was to make some pretty significant gains in strength and I have definitely done that. I'll work to get on here a bit more regularly! Keep you all posted.

I figured I'd add a progress shot. Mind you, this was after having a cold for nearly a week already and lack of sleep so it's not much, but I'll take it since I was able to maintain my weight for the most part. I think I weighed myself at 155.5lbs before I took this one where I'm usually right around 158. I'll take another photo at the end of my 10 weeks.

I really appreciate that Samson I am definitely cool with weighing more than people expect.
Funny story regarding my weight... as part of my gym membership I guess I can have a trainer "measure" my body composition with one of those scales you stand barefoot on. I knew they weren't very accurate, but a few weeks ago I thought it give me a ballpark range...lol not so much. If I really want a closer measurement I'll get caliper measurements done cuz according to them I'm 30% bf!!! Lol I know I'm heavy but I'm not nearly that fluffy. I panicked a little, then I looked up reference photos of women who actually were 30% and I felt better cuz I look nothing like that lol. So that particular scale is in dire need of being recalibrated cuz it's even more useless than I'd originally thought

Thanks miss lady! I'm really happy that I've been so productive in pushing my weight already eagerly anticipating what I'm capable of for a likely next cycle

Male or female it don't matter, muscle base never gets accounted into anything.

Yesterday was leg day but I'm just able to post about it today! I'm sitting at just under 159lbs right now

    2 second Paused Squats
    6x4 - 135lbs

    2 second Paused SLDL
    3x4 - 185lbs

I was definitely worn out after those squats cuz my legs were fatigued even with that 185 lightweight on paused deads.
this is the start of my 10th and last week. I've probably seen the most growth in my legs from this cycle. a year ago I was down to a size 4/5 in jeans when I was prepping for the figure show. once I got through that I was back to a 6/7. I've ripped most of those jeans by trying to get into them by now. Just had to commit to buying some size 9s lol It feels good because the last time I was buying that size it was because I was a fluff back in high school.

Couldn't have gotten this far without you guys! NACH was right, breakups are good motivation to kick a$$ and make some gains
