Yeah I was a little freaked out. Headache came on at the gym and just got worse afterward.Originally Posted by Bodacious

Yeah man much better, thanks. We made the same menstrual cycle comparison. Lmao. Glad you're feeling a little better too but sounds like you still need to rest up a bit.Originally Posted by NACH3

How's your hematocrit looking currently, Igi? Any excess fluid retention? Overconsumption of sodium?
Also, I hit the Dr. office for my shot this morning and my BP was 131/76, which is pretty good considering I still feel a little ragged, although the systolic is a tad high for me.
While I was there I mentioned to the shot nurse about my reaction to the Mucinex and she had the Dr. come in and listen to my chest. They are calling in an expectorant that won't have the adverse effects on my BP.
LOL, my Dr. said if she has to come up to the hospital to see me, she would bend me over and spank me. I told her I'm holding her to that promise.![]()

That will help somewhat since the tooth is out, but drink as much water and eat as much soft food as you can line your system with.
Those type meds always slow down my system/back me up. I am being 100% serious when I say I have literally bit down on a bath towel when going to the bathroom after taking a similar med prescribed by my dentist. Not to get too graphic, but imagine something that feels like a concrete block with lots of corners working its towards its final destination.![]()

Ag when I was taking them...always used NOW but always got the powders. Think it's more bang for the buck. But have to mix with some thing...I usually added to prevent workout.
Pain isn't bad right now. Did take a few last night combined with motrin.
Bad thing is the two weeks prior I think I ate an entire bottle of ibuprofen....then had blood work for kidneys monday....I'm sure doc won't be happy with results. :/
Glad u r feeling better Ag, nah and igi. Freaking wife is still 150/90s. I did mine this morning. 115/68.
Have a question thougb....it goes for my wife and i. Why is one arm always lower then the other??
I have the NOW brand in powder form and took about 2g, and will likely do another 2 later. According to kels calculation that may not be quite enough but seemed to do the trick.Originally Posted by almostgone

Hmm.. I used to hear people say to always measure on the same arm, but I went to a doc who took mine on each arm and told me that significant variations could mean there may be circulatory issues. Not to freak you out, but you probably want to mention this to your doc if you continue to notice a big delta between the two. As you know, circulatory problems could lead to a number of bad scenarios, like stroke, artery issues or cardiovascular problems.Originally Posted by Sfla80

Man I have no idea about hematocrit right now. Haven't had bw done in a while and know I need to. I really need a cbc. I've had night sweats pretty bad off and on and I've had next to no appetite for a few weeks now. Last weekend, I took a shake before bed, and woke up and puked it all up shortly thereafter.
Also, the wife noticed some 'spots' on my back that she says wasn't there before, and I have a couple on my face and above my eyelid too.
I think it's just aging but who knows. I know I need to get to the doc, I just haven't.
Here's a link sfla that talks about different BP readings with each arm:

Awesome that was a good read.
I'm gonna monitor it more and do both arms as everytime. She thinks it's an average of 3-5 points so I guess that's normal. But will monitor closer now.
Mine on the other hand was 10 point difference this morning (although numbers were great) one arm was 119 and other was 110.
The ones on my back are like moles and the ones on the eyelid are white-ish. It's weird. They don't hurt or anything. Another one on my face is dark but very faded, and hard to see, but I see it.Originally Posted by NACH3

No I've never been to a derm.. I don't think ever. I know I need to make some appts and I will.Originally Posted by Sfla80

That sounds awful. So how often do you go to the derm for a check up?Originally Posted by Sfla80
I personally go once a year. Or if I or my wife sees a change in anything.
My last dermatologist was gorgeous...and I needed her to check a mole on my leg next to my junk....so I dropped everything.
She like " how about this, we pull ur boxers back on and just lift the leg up to see it"
I felt like a cvnt :/
Hahahaha.. laughing my ass off right now. Thats funny as hell.Originally Posted by Sfla80
