It's a balmy 18 deg here but it's dry so far. We are supposed to have some snow next weekend and possibly rain/ice also next week???

I have nothing to complain about. I write this in my warm house on my I pod. If I get to cold I can turn the heat up. I live in a city of about 50,000 and we have about 2,000 homeless. Some come from larger cities. The few shelters that we have are full. I know people make choices in life but the mentally ill and chemically dependent are the ones I have a soft spot in my heart for. The family and I are signed up to ring the bells next Saturday. My prayers are with the cold today.

Grateful to be home.. After 6 days if travel, 4 of which were unplanned and stranded. Lots of snow on the ground at home. No work for the wife and kids home from school. Gave everyone big hugs and let my dog lick my face off.

Wow had to dig deep for this.... The family rang the bells for the Salvation Army yesterday. It was heartwarming and sad at the same time. It's amazing how many people smile when they are smiled at. My thoughts and prayers are with the poor this season. I have a lot to be grateful for

It feels good..... It really does. I'm not very religious..... I don't goto church or say prayers. I don't blame those who do and I don't push my beliefs on people..... But helping your fellow man transcends religion. A lot of religious organizations spearhead efforts to help the needy and I went To one in order to help.
It was a church..... It wasn't the faith I was taught or grew up with..... But that didn't matter. It was the smiles and the thank-you's I received. I can't stress enough that even an hour or two from your day can make a huge difference for someone else.

Fan forced oven? Do you mean a Convection oven? We just got one along with matching microwave, dishwasher and Refrigerator. All Whirlpool The microwave is a convection oven and steamer also.
