good idea....to aspirate....
aspirating is always a must! the whole point is to do a intamuscular injection, not intravenous.
Yup always aspitare that way your sure you didn't hit a vein. Also it's not even a hassle it sounds difficult at times when people explain it but it's a easy bro!
its that easy to kill yourself, just do yourself a favor and aspirate.
yea, only takes a few seconds, not worth not bothering imo
I've never heard a good reason not to aspirate.![]()
You must ALWAYS aspirate...it saves your life!!![]()

See how easy it is to try to aspirate with a lat or trap shot!! Not easy at all. And through all the, and i mean literally hundreds of shots without aspirating not ONCE have i killed myself or wound up in the hospital! Like i said before how many clinics or docs aspirate? I have not been to one yet.Originally Posted by SV-1
Just cause that has worked for YOU, I definately would NOT encourage that crap. It is ALWAYS better to aspirate and be safe then to save the 5 secs and NOT aspirate. IMOOriginally Posted by righton
Tell me one experience where a doc or clinic had aspirated when they had given YOU a shot of some sort, i have not heard of one that does or ever did. My doc who treats and consoles BB's had told me that in 29 ys that he's been practicing he had NEVER aspirated one patient not because he knows where the veins are it's just "not necessary" in his words!! Now you can go on about this forever but please drop all that "you can die s h i t"!! I would really like a REAL med doc to post on here his thoughts than i'll shut the **** up.Originally Posted by Tryin2getHUGE

I've given myself some pretty tricky shots and I've always been able to aspirate. It's not like it costs you any more then 5 seconds of your time. And although I've never injected into a vein, I have near one I nicked, and it was anything but fun. *cough*hack*cough*Originally Posted by righton
Really? Then I wouldn't want to go to your docs.....all of them where I am do. If you can reach the plunger to inject, you should be able to aspirate....You don't have to pull back hardly at all...you get blood return very quick.Originally Posted by righton
