Depends on how long you go without eating.

I wouldn't say the specific times of the day matter so much as it matters that you are eating every 2-3 hours (depending on your diet).
But I think everybody's schedule differs a little day to day.... on the weekends I wake up later and am able to eat every two hours on the dot. In school, its not as perfectly timed but I still make sure I eat every 2-2.5 hours...

I don't think that's much of a problem. If I'm bulking, I'll always carry a protein bar on hand for emergencies. Tri-o-plex makes some good ones. Made from oats.

a lost meal can never be made up
well sometimes i have to eat meal 8 and 9 together
