This guy use to go to the bars and shit to pick up women (apua) and wasnt having that much success at first. Once he learned how to actually dance he said its not uncommon now to be making out with girls on the dance floor w/out even saying a word to them.

That is *exactly my kind of music (hard core trance) And I've been know to dance like that myself, it looks funny I know but try dancing like that straight for 10 hours, Read the board rules. No rec drugs, and see how coordinated you can dance. =]

Yeh same thing here but now and days I just DJ and produce my own trance/hard trance (mostly melodic trance) in home studio. Currently working on a demo cd to get out to a few different labels just to see what happens. If not I know in another year minimum I'll get signed. In only 2 years I'm making some pretty good tracks for my experience. Most people take 5+ years to really learn how to make trance, I just put in A TON of hours everyday, not really for the $$ but because I just love it that much. If someone wants to sign me in the near future even better.

i love producing, but i have to admit im not good at it, havent done enough practice. what do you use ? i have reason, cubase, ableton and acid, i find them all hard to use.

Yeh I used Reason 2.5/3.0 for about 2 years and it is extremely hard to get your head around. But I made one of the best mistakes in the world because once you master Reason and transfer over to a host like FL Studio your skills literally advance like 2 or 3 years.
FL Studio is without a doubt my favorite program out there. It comes with some of the best native vst's and once you upgrade to the commercial vst's like z3ta, pro-53, fm-7, vanguard, novastation etc, you can start producing sounds like just like the pro's.
Of course some of the vst's run up to $350 each but I get free access and can hook you up no charge.
Cubase you need to really take actual classes to learn, and acid is EXTREMELY limited and imo sucks. I still love Reason but I don't need it anymore, on occasion I'll use thier mastering suite for final touches but FL usually is sufficient enough.
I do also use Acid 5.0 but only to compress mp3 from FL because its the only program that will compress mp3 w/out losing essential quality. So I render 256 kbit in FL which can sometime be like 15mb for one song and I'll shrink it in acid to like 4-5mb and it doesnt lose any sound quality (or isnt noticeable).
If you really love producing shoot me your aim or msn and I can get you on your feet in a week or 2. I love teaching people how to use the shit because once you learn how to get ideas from your mind to the sequencers there no limit at what you can do. + I wind up collabing with people I teach in the long run. If it wasnt for a few pro's taking thier time to collab with me I wouldnt have learned as quickly as I did.
So read a little bit about FL Studio 7. If you decide you want to get and learn it I'll hook you up. And I dont care what anyone says for every ONE person who uses Reason or Cubase theres 4 people using Fl Studio. You'll see why its so popular once you learn it, purely FVCKING AMAZING.
Get at me if you interested. I'll get you producing in no time, its really not as hard as you think. You just need to learn the basics that most pro's know like making percussion/drum patterns, bass patterns (like rolling bass or off/on beat grooves) pads (easy as shit) and the hardest which are melodies and lead lines. Since lead synths are primarily what will make a trance track a TRANCE TRACK (because it overrides every other element in the song) you need to really master programing vst's and making melodies. I can teach you melodies fairly quickly and how to master certain vst's (like Vanguard) but other vst's can take years and years to learn how to program, even so a lot of people just stick to the presets and will just alter them slightly. + I have thousands of samples, and quality sf2 samples to start with and you wont even have to touch a vst if you dont want. Just once you learn you'll be addicted to them. Ok enough rambling, hit me up if your interested bro.

I actually had to go back through it and I still missed it on the first time I actually realized there was nudity, its literally that quick, but hey my bad, I didnt see it.
