A question

Have anybody been treated for DVT Deep venous thrombosis with blood thinners? Over the past 4 years on it I reduced from 10mg of warfarin to 5mg this past week. This in my mind shows my DVT is improving. Is there a reason other then this to lower the amount over 4 years in this circumstance. I am 54 so posting here. Thank you for response.

I've had issues with clots before, but it's a genetic thing. Good that Coumadin is working for you, it didn't affect my PT-INR at all.

If your Dr. lowered your dosage based on labs that show you require less to achieve a therapeutic level, I would think that's a good thing.

Thank you for the reply. Just started the 4th try at my arthritis and hit a home run. MTX worked and got rid of all the pain and inflaming. Previous try were biology medicine that as expensive and did zippo. Waiting for the end of the month to check for side effects.

Hope the MTX continues to do the trick.

I feel your pain on the RA. It's relentless. Over the past decade I've accumulated quite a few of the arthritic nodules on some of my joints. It isn't fun.
