    Neck pain

hey fellows, I got this neck pain problem that comes and go. It has been gruesome for the last 2 weeks. I usually wake up from sleep with this strange neck pain but upon "stretching" and good warm up it tend to go away only to emerge again and again next morning after I wake from a long night sleep, Any advise, suggestions, will be appreciated.

funny, i had the same thing in my left trap up to the back of my head ... my chiro doc said he would just keep working it... no luck - so i did some research and found out that their is three segments to the trap muscle upper, middle, and lower - i had just been training the upper with the normal shrugs (front shrugs, bar, heavy) two weeks later no more pain and i train all three ...

here is what i would do:
    1 - chiro doc
2 - rest, ice or what ever the doc says
3 - look in to training each segment of the trap and see if that helps, if it doesnt help at least you are looking better cause you'll have huge traps.

    good luck
