    Abdomen and "love handles" liposuction

So I was 110 kg about 4 years ago with body fat 35%+ and I am 180 cm tall. I changed my lifestyle to eating non fried and low fat/low carb food and been eating arounf 150 gm of protein daily with weight lifting and cardio. Today I am 87 KG with around 15% bf, my physique is good except the external oblique "love handles" area, so I am thinking about having liposuction in that area, and before telling me I am a slob; I have tried to cut down to 12% bf and even 10% to the point that my face looked like a skeleton and still that area didn't change even with targeted exercises.
Did anyone here have liposuction in that area and will he let me know about his experience and when can i hit the gym back if i did it ?

thank you Kelkel but I am going for the invasive liposuction, not the sculpture one so I think it will take me more time to recover ...

Love to hear how this journey is for you, as I'm sure many members here would. Maybe consider starting a thread and updating it when all this gets going?

There can be a genetic component to the love handles, regardless of what anyone says. You can get down to very low body fat and minimize them, and with a wider back and shoulders they are not very evident, but they still exist. Fat deposition can be predisposed to that area. I speak from experience and know how much that sucks.

Regarding liposuction, here is the good and bad news. The good news is that it works. It removes fat cells permanently and can have really nice results.
The bad news is it can hurt like holy hell for several days after, depending upon how extensive it is done (including abdomen, low back area, etc.), and you should plan on recovery as if from an invasive surgery. Also, it is more effective if you weigh more because the fat cells are hypertrophied (larger) and easier to harvest with the procedure. Not sure how noticeable difference would be on you, will vary from person to person.
Look at untouched before and after polaroids in surgeon's office to get an idea of the pre- and post-surgical difference.

It won't remove ALL the fat cells, so if you gain weight you can regain some fat in the same area, but it won't be as extensive.

Go to someone who does a lot of it, preferably a general surgeon or one who can handle the complications if they occur (very rare) and who uses a surgical suite.
