protein question
i was at the local supp. store yesterday with my bro. he picked up this 5lb tub of "worldwide sports nutrition" "extreme whey" (they have been advertising in flex) anyway we looked at the specs to see if it was legit because it was 5lbs for 19$. heres the rip, 2 scoops provide 21grm protein and 60mg of cholesterol (that is 20% of a 2,000 cal diet) anyway i figured up how much i would consume in a day and it added up to 120% of daily cholesterol per day. i know i consume more than 2000 cals a day but to me that seems awful high. what do you guys think?

dont worry about it. Those recomendations are for a sedentary individual. Plus, dietary cholesterol is not as important to cholesterol health as was previously thought.

I had that same fear as well, of having to much cholesterol in my diet since i consume 4 protein servings daily having 60 mg's of cholesterol per serving, thats alot, not to mention that i sometimes even eat eggs with the egg yoke. Are you sure it wouldnt have any effects on cholesterol??

marginal. Worry more about saturated fat, nicotine and heredity.

Yea. That's a popular misconception about eating cholesterol actually having that much of a direct relationship of increasing yours
