    Creatine while sick

    Hey guys, yesterday i woke up and i was really sick, like weak and my throat hurt and i had a cough. well today i woke up again and i feel better, but not 100 percent, my throat is still sore, so u think i should take my creatine?? i missed it yesterday as well. i was just seeing if it will make me recover longer or anything of that sort. ive only been taking creatine 5g/day for 5 days now..thanks oh its phos. hp, and could this make me sick???

    it wont make much of a difference taking it or not.

    ya i just didnt want to take it and then it effect me getting better faster, ya know?

    hey guys am i right on this, creatine kinda dehitrates(sp) you, so just make sure you keep plenty of fluids in you. I too am sick, but im still taking it.

    why bother? its a waste
    its not like you work out when your sick?
    just stop the creatine and start up when you feel better

    ya thats what im doing, i had 101 fever and feel like complete sh^t. i wont workout probably for a couple days so ill start it when i go back to the gym. do u think the creatine could make me sick???

    no the creatine had nothing to do with it.

    creatine may affect hydration. If you water intake is inadequate it may make the symptoms of your illness worse.
