    regular, soy, or whey ???

    ok, was checking on the Met-Rx web site and came across some of their protein powders. a little confused about what's what and the difference between them all......

    they have protein plus - regular, soy, and whey. i can see the soy doesn't have as much protein as the other two. i see whey has more fat. is there some other significant difference? does one absorb quicker / act different in the body / taste different ?

    Whey protein has the better quality protein of all. This mean is the one your body will prefer, the one witch came from the milk sore(whey). If you are worried about fat, take it with lowfat, skim milk, or yourgut, or water. And is the one witch taste better, too, vanilla, chocolate, well, the classical whey protein! I preffer EAS.
    But I preffer Myoplex for weight gains, as it has glutamine ane other aminos and vits...

    I guess that would explain why the whey is a little more expensive.

    For Sure. If you want a cheapiest option, try egg protein (albumina). Its very good, but if you have the maney go on whey.

    why is that ?? met-rx has some TruSOY protein bars that taste great and have a decent amount of protein in them....

    i agree, STAY AWAY FROM SOY... whey is better and does not act as a phytoestrogen.
