I just take mine with meals bro...one in the morning and one in the evening. They are time released. Also, I take extra vitamin C right after my workout.
i take a multi in the morning with breakfast which is about an hour or so before i lift, then i take another in the evening with dinner. I take extra vitamin c after each. Sorry for hijacking but is it ok to take a flax pill the same time as the multi's?

I think that Vit C even in doses of 4 grms per day can't hurt..after all it's water soluble vit.I take 3000-4000mgs ED of Vit C as ascorbic acid powder..very cheap and effective.
vit c reduces cortisol so taking it both pre and post workout is a good idea. 2 grams before and 3 grams after and then maby 2-3 grams spread out during the evening.
im currently taking 15-20 grams/day

val check the diet forum if you want more info on it. Its my experiment. I have discuess it until my eyes bleed and my finger hurts from typing lol.
