    Protein gave me GOUT!

My increase in protien to 300+ grams a day appeared to have given me gout on my toe. Its red and swollen and is giving off heat. I researched it and it looks for sure like what it is. It got so bad I took a 22G pin and popped it. The puss went squirting about 2 feet....felt better. My question is, has anyone had these same problems due to excessive protein? damn it hurts

sure it was protien?? do you change your socks daily...bathe??!?!?

For some odd reason i dont think excessive protien is gonna give you something on your toe...

    shoot me if im wrong...

Cut the meat protein down and see a doctor as soon as possible. I personally know nothing about THE GOUT, except that it caused the demise of Henry VIII (I got an A on the history exam, by the way).

I get my girl to pop my zits on my back and shit. Call it nasty but you know you have a good woman when she does it for you without even asking!

Definitely see a doctor because gout is too unpredictable. BTW, I moved your thread to the Supplement Questions section.
