How to make egg protein shakes less gritty
Before I go to bed I take a 60g egg protein shake. It is so rough/gritty. I tried mixing it with milk, and then with milk and a 20g scoop of 100% whey. It is still horribly gritty. It almost hurts my throat. I even tried dissolving it in super hot water. Do I just gotta deal with it? Are the other slow digesting proteins, such as the cassein blends, gritty as well?

Cassein isn't bad, have you tried good old cottage cheese? Digests like a dream, or you can try all natural yogurt and that helps with morning breath too!

I already eat about 2 cups of cottage cheese a day with my meals. I can NOT force myself to eat anymore. I'll try some yorurt though, thanks.
