most are formulated the same but the best available is any liquid kind as it is more absorbable

egg and whey from two different sources whey is fast digesting within an hour to 2 hours egg is slower digesting protein

I would go with Optimum Nutrition's 100% Whey Protein. You can buy it in a large bag and it is much cheaper. GNC is expensive.

good multi pack for men would be animal pak or beverly nutrtion multi pack...but if you just want something simple i would go with megamen.
