    for the vit. c. users

    do u guys that eat alot of vit. c. ever get real bad diahrea. i take it with food so maby it will be easier on my stomach. but i get the shits so fckin bad when i take it...i hear of people takin real high doses but if i take more then 2 grms a day i shit my brains out...

    my diet as it is, is horrible and i supplement about 5g of vit. c a day for the past month or so and i do notice that you get the runs more when you dont eat something while taking the vit c or if you do eat when you take it you dont eat much as a whole for the whole day but thats just my experience with it

    haha, that just made my day....i dont know what it is whenever i take 1g at a time w/ food i shit like crazy....oh well i geuss i just ahve a weak stomach...

    I knew a guy that was taking 8g's a day he ended up with a huge growth on his neck he had to get cut off. Don't take too much! 3-4g is fine

    id like to see some support that vit. c caused that huge growth i dont believe it, vit. c is a water soluable vitamin and even if you are mega-dosing it say 10-15g a day i highly doubt youd get a growth caused by the vit c your body gets rid of whatever you dont need/use through urine imo your story is

    15g per day...no problem...but Bojangles69 has a thread with a formula to buffer it...so no problem...

    I get no dihareea until I cross the 20g limit. I notice though that if I take several grams of ascorbic acid(5 or so) in a short time period I get dihareea but sodium ascorbate doesnt give that effect. Sodium ascorbate on the other hand gives me bad stomach pains if I go above 20 grams while ascorbic acid doesnt.

    If you are using ascorbic acid try switching to sodium ascorbate.

    You get dihareea when intact ascorbic acid reaches the intestines. But the tollerance should be WAY above 2 grams. betwen 15-20 grams is the usual for most people.

    When you are sic you can consume up to 100 grams without dihareea becuase the tollerance level shoots to the roof. Max I have taken is somewhere betwen 60-80 grams when I bad a abcess in my quad.

    I had problems like that when i was only mixing it with water and not eating anything with it and drinking too much at one time, now i put it in a shake and sip on it all day and Everything flows regularly
