    melatonin quest

been having trouble sleeping, so started popping 3mg of melatonin before bed. Yah, it knocked me out, but the next morning I feel all groggy, almost depressed (don't want to get out of bed), and consequently, my am cardio is pathetic.

anyone else have any similar exp with melatonin?

or know of anything else that will aid in sleep w/o the next morn grogginess?

    thanks

well last night I was in bed by 10p, planning to sleep till 7a. But got a call from the ex around 12a, and got back to bed around 1a.

so far I've only taken on the weekends when I know I can sleep longer, but still feel like shlt in the am.

OMG 3mg is way to much for me i add to switch to 1mg, for some people it takes time to get used too for me it knocks me out like a 2 year old.

I just love the stuff and since you sleep with a deeper sleep.

My experience - I used 3mg's every night for almost 2 months and it would make me groggy within an hour. By morning I would have no side effects whatsoever. I have run out and have not gotten any more yet. I have found it harder to fall asleep now since I am not using it. It takes me at least an hour to fall asleep now, whereas before I would take it ~ 1 hour before bed time, and I would be out in about 10-15 minutes.
