liver pills??????????

Are liver pills good to take in a weight lifting program- What do they do for you ????????????????????

liver pills are an easy way to get extra protein in throughout the day, along with some extra vitamins, mainly B vitamins and iron. they have been around for years. i have taken them, but i dont really like them. liver protein is the hardest for your body to break down, and a multivitamin or other seperate supplements should give you enough vitamins. also, i just always think that an animal's liver is what cleans out all the toxins/food/medicine it ingests, and now your liver has to clean out all that in addition to it's normal job. maybe i am completly wrong with that last statement, but that is what i think about when i think liver pills. if you insist on taking them, take 4 with each meal.

Makes lots of sense about the cleaning the body of toxins..Maybe i'll give them a miss..My liver is probably already broken down too many toxins...lol

Check that thread. Are you talking about sups to help your liver or pills made from liver tissue?
