realistically it only helps to preserve muscle mass if dosed pre morning cardio on an empty stomach.

It also does release GH but nothing dramtaic

No it doesnt help you gain muscle mass the only thing it does is reduce the amount of muscle deterioration that occurs because other tissues that need glutamine will not rob the glutamine stored in the muscle cells. but it is a very good supplement to take but dont expect to but on mass with it.

does nothing to help muscle mass...it can increase gh levels and prevent muscle protein breakdown after strenuous exercise.

I love about 40-50 grams post workout when cutting on low carbs... it feels like it rejuvenates me a bit (even without sugars). Suppose to be good for GH as well...

But Glutamine is the predominant amino in your muscles - so it would make sense that it could be a strong anti-catabolic amino...

Right now my PWO is one banana mixed with 40 grams of glutamine... this is with a CKD diet where I am at or near ketosis during the week. Coach Poliquin (highly successful strength coach) preaches this as well, he says - "if your fat (according to him this can be anything over 10 percent bodyfat in men), no sugars PWO - only high-dose glutamine"... in so many words. It actually works pretty well...

you'd need a good powder obviously... the pills would be too much money and too much to swallow...

most proteins nowdays have 5g per serving so you should be getting enough from that.

Mmmm Warrior this is some very good information right there, i am doing the low carb diet right now, i dont really carb up cause i am out for injury, but should start training again this summer.

I will make sure to look into this, i know its possible to kick out of ketosis but get back in really quick after a workout like the TKD diet.
