Whey, Soy, or EGG Protein
Hi....I consume all 3 kinds of protein in the form of shakes, but if you had to stick to one only, which one do you think works best for mass...Whey Protein? Soy Protein? or Egg Protein?

If I was going to stick to one I would personally choose whey protein because of thew amino acid profile

I would personally say soy would be on the bottom of my list, I would much rather put my money into proteins that generally yield better results

I have used all three over the years and whey is best IMO.. I would now use egg over Soy but would never use egg anyway.
Stick with the good stuff.

i'm with the majority that whey is the best. it has the most diverse amino acid profile. eggs would be a second choice for me, as they are a very good source as well. however, i'm not a big fan of soy. first, my body doesn't digest soy very well. even if it did though, soy is not a complete protein source. it is missing vital amino acids and is just not complete within itself. whey is and eggs are close enough that with other daily proteins, it's all good.

I just did some research on this and from what I read Egg is the best all around protein it is absorbed relatively quickly 2-3 hours and is considered the 'gold' standard for protein . Whey is especailly good after w/o's it is absorbed the fastes and acts to repair muscle . Casien is another form of protein which takes much longer to absorb usually 6-8 hours and is best taking at night before bed. Soy is found in vegetables and usually not needed to supplement.I'm not speaking from experience though just research.

I've heard of research suggesting that diets high in soy correlate strongly to increased levels of estrogen. I'll see if I can't find more info.
