Glycerine and it's uses in supplementation

Has anyone heard of supplementing wiht glycerine for their glycerine loading stage pre workout? Ive never heard about this before and i was recently exposed to the idea and the great ratings that it received by other people. I read that it super-hydrates your glycerine levels in your muscles, allowing you to work out harder for longer. Also i heard the pumps while taking this is awesome. I'm just interested because it is pretty cheap and it just such great reviews. thanx.

affects extracellular water, glycerine is an alcohol sugar. many people do notice better pumps and less sub-Q water.

Personally, I use it to sweeten my Green Tea, about a teaspoon full. It is supposed to balance your Blood pH... there is an article over on animal's board about it... chemicalanarchy. It is used by endurance athletes to stave off dehydration as well if I remember correctly. I get it by the gallon form Craft Lobby it is sold for making soap but it is USP grade and even Kosher and about $20/gal.
