Vitamin--C
okay for those who use vitamin C how much do you usually consume a day...ive heard it works well for strength gains as well as other things

Usually iuse about 2 grams per day.
During times of stress i may bump this to 10 grams per day

I do 15 grams a day and when I am sick I bang it up to 30g or until I get the shits. Johan will have plenty to say, he is the Vitamin C guru

8-10 grams of sodium ascorbate per day. i spread it out as much as possible, trying not to take much more than 1g per hour. And yes...Johan is the man when it comes to C.

Im in the 6-10g a day range while at school..over the summer 4-6g a day range

I use 18-22 grams a day when Im dieting, I find I lose bodyfat a little easier,and my energy levels through the day are much better.

if your taking over a couple grams per day over a long period of time than you can develop kidney stones. You don't need more than a couple grams anyways becuase you will just piss out the excess that your body can't use and you are wasting your product.

well ok, i take 500 mg to 1000 a day.... i really don't think 10 grams a day will change you(imo)
but i guess do whatever yopur brain says

Myka - constant low doses maybe, but not exceedingly high constant doses. University studies have shown that people consuming more than a couple grams of Vit.-C per day are at high risk of developing kidney stones. You really don't need more than a couple grams of Vitamin C per day. I don't take more than a gram or 2 a day unless I'm sick. But, take what I tell you and do what you want with it. Its your body...
