when are the best times to take ur protein shake ?

I do five on workout days so here is what I do, first one when I get out of bed, 2nd around 10 am third around 2.00pm Workout at 4.00pm Post Workout shake when I leave the gym. One before I go to bed. The most important shake is the PWO (Post workout shake) all the others are optional if you are getting lots of protein loaded food.
So if I was doing three I would do one on rising, one PWO and one at night before bed.

Best time is post work out. After that, I'd say right before bed, and one in the am after waking up.

Agreed.. I have one after cardio in the morning, then PWO with dextrose, but the one I have before bed is usually only 1/2 shake since I'm not usually hungry .. but I know I'll need it for the morning cardio..

1. PWO (most important)
2. A couple of hours after your morning carb meal.
2. Varies, but if you're serious...a concentrated protein only shake before bed such as Isopure.
