Creatine and Cutting - Does it work?

Ive been cutting for 7 weeks now and Ive noticed my first sign that a bit of my strenghth is dipping. No longer are my close-grip bench and incline bench dumbels as high as they once were when I was 17 pounds heavier. Im looking much more lean and have about another 5-8 pounds of fat to drop before I have my full six pack. Basically im asking is what type of creatine could help me retain a bit more of my strength and overall help me get through this cut. Also what type and brand would you reccomend during a cut?

Any type of creatine could help

I don't think the brand matters

    What matters is absorptability

You could try CEE from any reputable company

By my trying to achieve the tight, ripped look. Would creatine make me stray away from that look considering I heard its bloating or would it do the opposite?

A lot of the powerlifters at my gym use SAN CM 2. It tastes great and is very light. It doesn't put on much weight at all, but it helps with your endurance and strength!

I'm not a fan of creatine while cutting. Too much bloat, and I don't want any when I'm cutting. Cee might be better, but I only use mono.

I concur. You naturally lose a little strength when cutting, don't sweat it. But what it comes down to is your goal:
    1. Are you more interested in the final post cutting product (bodily) as a competititor would be?
    2. Or, are do you care about how you look along the journey?

#1 would indeed benefit from Creatine.
    #2 wouldn't.

Im more concerened with how Im going to look in about 4-6 weeks. Ive been cutting for a while and have been very strict and I can almost see the finish line, its just this minor lower stomach fat, love handles and back fat thats hollding me back
