Whey alternative

Hi Guys. I'm a user (AS) and because of a fulfilling eating program I take whey twice a day. The problem is that whey is pretty darn expensive in my part of the woods so I need to replays the one intake with an alternative. Is there any kind of homebrew mixes I can use that would be more cost effective (despite the meats, egg whites....)? I hope you understand my question for English is not my first Language.

You can get whey from Wal Mart. I costs a little over $10. I hope that don't break the bank.
