    Has anyone tried the Pure Protein Bar?

    well here's the nutritions facts on it:

    Calories 280
    Fat Calories 70
    Total Fat (g) 8

    Potassium (mg) 160
    Total Carbs (g) 30
    Dietary Fiber (g) <1

    Ingredients:

    Looks good to me, those bars are always so expensive though, I used to eat a brand of the power bar, called protein plus... it was real good

    forget the protein bars, nutritionally most are no better than a snickers with added protein. sure, sugar alcohols are processed much differently than normal sugars, but they are still calories. lets face it, these bars are heavily processed, they should be avoided.

    No, definitley NOT SUITABLE for cutting. Eating a protein bar is like opeing a Christmass present in that you never know what you're gonna get. Save 'em for bulking and only use 'em if you have no other option.

    On another note, those bars aren't bad at all. Expensive, but that depends where you get 'em from. Wal-Mart, in my are, has the smaller ones and they sell for like .75 cents. No shit! However, please don't make 'em part of your regular diet. Save 'em for emergencies if you can't get to whole food.
