Anyone Make Thier Own Protein Bars??

Im lookn for some of the best recipes out there. I was reading some of the ones on the net but theres too many to decide. Does anyone have any of thier own recipes for protein or granola bars that they swear by? Some of them call for peanut butter but i want something leaner.

im actually going to be experimenting with a pro/carb bar some time this weekend. Im thinking about ground oatmeal, Opt Nutrition chocolate protein powder and egg whites. maybe some cinnamon for added flavor. ill let you know how it goes. actually i think im gonna put them in a muffin pan. that would be easier since im gonna get frustrated forming them and putting them on wax paper, etc. anyhow, ill let you know how that goes.

yeh it seems like a universal standard to use oatmeal, eggs, and protein powder. Some people add applesauce, sugar free syrup or orange juice to keep it moist. Im think im going to get one from a reputable manufacturer, read the ingredients, and try to replicate it. But let me know how yours go and ill do the same. Im always on the run if im not working or working out so it would really be convenient to store like a thousand in my house and just live off them.
