Cutting Phase, Carb day - how often?

Currently Im having a carb day every other Saturday. Should I increase the frequency?

I'm taking in around 20 carbs a day - and a lot of my fat fell right off now I've got just a little more to go - love handles and a little gut left to go. But I've been working on it for over a month and I see little improvement.

Would increasing my carb days keep my body in a fat burning mode more adequately?

    thx!!!

    There are several variables here.
    But yes, that would help.

How often should I have carb days? Once a week? Twice a week?

20mgs a day is quite extreme and should not be maintained for long periods. The severe restriction of macronutrients (pro, fat, carbs), is typically for specific events: contests, vacations, beach stays, etc. Don't get on that Atkins band wagon, it's detrimental.
Plus you need numerous supplements like fiber, potassium, glutamine, vit/min, efa's, etc. (not an exhaustive list) to offset the loss from carb lack.

Instead of the wacky Atkins crap, bb'ers elect to cycle carbs by having specific days on which consumption is moderate. This is often dictated by one's energy levels.

Fat burns in the furnace that is carbohydrates.

No more "how to cut" sticky? Uh oh...

I noticed in the thread "how to cut" is no longer stickied - my diet was loosely based on that outline... has that been deemed useless?
