Water Pills?

I was in the gym yesterday and overheard a conversation. They were talking about these water pills to use pre-competition to help get bloat,excess water and overall puffy look. Do these things work and exist?

are you asking to get the bloat out or make you look bloated...a diuretic would get RID of the water

Yeah, get rid of the bloat. I thought a diarutic wasnt taken once a day. I thought only every so often. I also thought it wasnt just to take out excess water but excess everything backed up.
