Has anyone tried the new IDS Liquid Protein. It's basically a shot of protein (about 3oz). I didn't see it on allsportnutritions site but maybe its there?

I have tried both flavors, blue raspberry and I think fruit punch. They are pretty good tasting and there isnt much too them. They are gone in like 2 gulps. They are expensive, so I wouldnt rely on them too much. Try one right at the end of your workout before your carbs. The protein is hydrolyzed(sp?) so it is very fast absorbing. They are great for a change or once in a while, but, like I said, I wouldnt rely on them for all day protein.
Convenient but expensive. I bought mine through DPS and paid $24 for 12. $2 a pop is high for daily supplemenation, but might not be a bad thing if you travel a lot and you're on-the-go. But for daily use, your wallet is going to be hurting.Originally Posted by Dangerdan
What is the info on them? Serving size and macro breakdown?

I make about a 30 minute drive to my gym (traffic sucks here). So I normally dont take any post workout protein until about 45 minutes after working out. I was thinking these would be a good way to get some protein immediately following a workout.
Carry a "majic bullet" with you to the gym, it's a small convenient blender, much better than that drink you just mentioned.
I've never seen anyone use a blender at the gym? I dont think I would want to mix up my protein drink at the sink while the guy next to me shaves either. The magic bullett does look like a pretty slick blender though.Originally Posted by IBdmfkr
