Im ****ed!
I got mono, was trainging so hard/intense for ever since i graduated. Went from 147 to 173ish. spent money on supps and food. Was eating like a hog. NOW I CAN BARELY EAT ONCE A DAY, AND IM SLEEPING ALL THE TIME> i just weighed myself and im 160. How long does mono usually last......i cant aford this shit.
Any advice besides forcefeeding myself. I ususally just throwe it up.

i went from 150-125 when i was 18 yrs..
your body will bounch back fast, just take time..The answer to your every question

Yeah it last a while man but you just gotta deal with it and it sucks. Like spywizard said you should bounce back pretty quick though.

Get a crap load of rest man, that is the main thing i did when i had mono and im glad i did.

I had it when I was 16... doc said it would take about 2 months to get over it... it can last a while... the best thing you can do is force yourself to do the things you can.... my doctor told me I got over it quicker because I didn't stop going to school .. I forced myself. Of course, I slept from 4 p.m. until the morning when I had to get ready for school and then all day on teh weekends too... i dropped almost 25 lbs.
Oh yes.. I forgot about your eating situation... I didn't eat much at all, and when I did it was totaly forced.. as I'm sure you're aware. If you can, try eating smaller amount more frequently.. that's what I ended up doing once my parents realised how much weight i was losing... it sucked though!!

I set an alarm to wake me up at 11 today, i woke up, but fell back a sleep and didnt get back up till 1:30. And that was me forcing myself out of bed. this 12-13 hour sleep regimen is killing me. i usuallyy go 7 hours and im all set to party. guess ill go mowe the lawn lol

12-13 hours of sleep......... wow, dude that sucks, i get like 4-6 and ready to rock..... hope all turns out ok and you dont loose too much weight Bro

I had a friend that got it and he was eating things that were easy to swallow and a lot of shakes (whey and gainer) he did not loose much weight but he had to force himself to eat.

My appetite is comming back slowly. I weighed in, im now 153.
But yes, atleast i dont have herpes.

good to hear about the appetite maybe you are getting over it. just eat like a horse and beat the gym to death and you will gain it back fast..... good luck....

Well friday was my 1st day back in the gym. It was a rough one. Legs still sore after doing a warm up of squats!!! strength down in the dumps. Could only do weighted dips with a 45. Pretty much everything strength why's was cut-in-half. let you guys know how it goes tommorrow afternoon.

This is really confusing me. Im all well now, and im back to training regularly, but im still underweight. I go from around 157ish to 163 eachday, but i can lift as much as i was before when i weighed more??? Well, everything is kinda up in strength around my upper body, but my legs wont even touch 400's on the box squats. Just letting you guys know how everything is going now..its still a little wierd on my part.

good to hear ur back at it bro...that is weird about the whole losing weight but keeping strength part...shit id be thankful for that!
