    Vitamin E post workout

The August 06 issue of Mens Health magazine states that vitamin E is "besides protein, the best supplement to take after a workout" and cites a sports science researcher at a university. Anyone have any thoughts on this statement?

I recently read an add in my local newspaper about this too. It said that vitamin E protects muscles from a buildup of free radicals, speeding recovery. I would like to see what everyone else here has to say about this though.
