    Leucine or BCAA

If it's the same price as BCAA powder, should i just get some leucine? Whenever i read about BCAA's, some form of the sentence "BCAA's, in particular leucine, inhibits muscle catabolism and..." What do you guys think, are there benefits to the isoleucine and valine?

yeah, i have a 2:1:1 ratio on mine, my servings are way bigger than you suggest though, by a factor of 4 or 5. does anyone have data on the benefits of supplementing with valine or isoleucine?

honestly if youre consuming 2-3 protein powder shakes a day you really are getting enough bcaa's that way. most proteins have that included. thats why i love ON brand because it has LOADS of aminos in it..

I would go with the BCAA's. There is a place that I order from that enables you to add in additional Leucine as well as a flavor system, which is great.
