    Arrow anyone ever used bicarbonate [baking soda]

    I was reading through some threads and ive came across bicarbonate being used for strength and size anyone ever use this? bicarbonate=baking soda

    i think its MAINLY used for preventing lactic acid build up

    it's good for a few thing's, i use it to clear any dry skin on my head a day or so after i've shaved it.

    If i can get some positive reviews from peaple who have used it ,Then hell with it im not too proud at all too use it.

    Anyways, the gist of that article suggests a dose of between .2 to .6 g/kg bodyweight. GI distress reported above .4 g/kg. It is used to buffer the effects of lactic acid buildup. Some studies show no benefit, perhaps not a large enough dose used. Sodium citrate can also be used for this.

    nope, never used it, nor talked to anyone who has. It's not high on my list of things to try, but i never say never.

    I was just reading about this stuff in a transdermal product called derma-gain by impact supplements- they make claims of it blocking lactic acid.
