How long does it usually take to get the water bloating effect from creatine?

Not everyone gets water retention with creatine..I don't! I think it has to do with the person and aslo the brand of creatine. Monohydrate sometimes pulls water in because it has a hard time entering the muscle cell..that's why a lot of creatine uses dex or other sugars for a delivery system. I am not positive, but I would think that CEE would have the least water retention because it easily passes through the cell membrane and probably would limit the water pulled in...but again, I am not positve and have not read any studies regarding this.

You get more water retention with creatine mono-hydrate than CEE. Are you looking for this bloat? Im curious on why you asked the question. hehe. Are you taking monohydrate or cee?? Advice, use CEE. CEE is CM that is synthetically bonded with a molecule of hydrochloric acid. This allows CEE to be taken directly into the muscles thru the cell walls giving it an absorption rate between 90%-100%. In comparison, CM has an absorption rate of around 10%

I do, but it goes away when I lift/run (duh), or if I take 1-2 days off. How much water do you drink a day? I drink about 10 16 oz bottled waters a day, so it happens quickly for me.......
