    L - Arginine

Has anyone done any research in depth on this . They are now saying that L - Arginine lowers your growth hormone levels and to stay away from it .
Is it really that bad , as I have noticed it is in most of my supplements ?

Who ever wrot that got it backwards. I take it every night before bedtime. Stuff is so good I wonder if it might replace GH.

I take 1000 mg o L-Arginie & 500 mg of L-Ornithine every night before bed. I think it helps. It won't burn fat like IGF or GH. However, finger
nails, hair, skin seem much better. I read about this and ordered some
expensive supps. This was the main part. So went to health food store
and ( well, you just have to try and see if it stimulates the part of you
    that generates growth hormones.)

There was a new study out that said NO supplementation (arginine is the active ingredient) before working out lowered GH by half its normal amount for an hour after exercise. I read the study pretty in-depth and its a good study but it will have to be repeated and looked at further.

Thats what people have been talking about.

Most studies are very limited and out dated some with animals
or rodents. It would be helpfull to list link.
