    Divide capsule on 2 ?

    Is it ok to break a capsule on 2 ? I got some twinlab niacin here, but the tabs in it are 500mg each (i could not find with 250mg). I want to start from at least 250mg, so this might be a dumb question but i want to ask if it is OK to chop it on 2 and swallow the half?

    if it is a solid tablet then yeah it would be ok to cut it in half, if it is a capsule then it is powder inside and would'nt be advisable...NT

    NightTrain it is a capsule with powder inside. Can you explain why it is not recommended ?

    in my opinion..... its not recommended as you would lose alot of the powder.... but i guess you could still do it
