    Exclamation NO shotgun timing?????

hey, ive been on noshotgun along with my other supps that i mentioned in my other thread but i was wondering if anyone found that noshotgun works better in the second half of your workout?

today was back and forearms, back was pumped but when i started hitting the forearms they blew up!!! i couldn't even hold a front double bicep pose as the pain was so intense. i might try taking the noshotgun 40 min before training, anyone else tried this or had the same experience as me?

Yeah, I've had a similar experience, but I pushed mine back to 30 min pre WO. Potential overtraining is perhaps the one drawback to NO Shotgun - once it starts kicking in, "the pumps are retarded" (quote courtesy of UpstateTank) and I don't want to stop lifting.

But also, I've found that forearms get pretty trashed when doing back exercises because of the grip strength required for pulling movements. Perhaps training forearms on a different day would have a different effect? I don't know.

I do a short low cardio(15min) session prior to my workout. By taking NO Shotgun 30 hr before I workout will I loose some of the edge by working out after the run?

30 hours? I'm gonna have to assume you meant 30 minutes. What is the purpose of the cardio? Are you warming up, trying to burn fat, etc.? IMO, you're gonna lose some of the potency, but the amount of loss will really depend on the intensity of your cardio. I always separate cardio from lifting, so perhaps another AR member has a better idea of what might happen.
