    BCAAs suggestions

    Hey guys,

I've been researching BCAAs and decided to give it a try since Ive never used them before. Im contemplating using 10g pre and post WO. Also on OFF days in the morning and pre-Bed.

My question is, what brand would you recommend in powder form? I've seen some suggesting TrueP or just ordering it in Bulk from nutra. Any suggestions, would be appreciated.

    THX

UT, it seems that consuming BCAAs in either bulk or fatloss cases would be beneficial, yet the anticatabolic properties would seem prevalent due to the fact that the calories one consumes are deficient. Theoratically, you would derive the most using BCAA while "cutting".

I've heard pretty good things about Scivation's XTEND, it a little more complete and price wise is not that much more expensive. Taste also seems to be more tolerable. $44/1016gr

    Hi Prada,

I use BCAA regulary myself. As for brand and dosage:

    * I use 5 grams 30 min. before, during, and after any cardio or lifting days.

    I use Sci-Fit brand:

    BCAA 5000 Powder 500 grams, 1000 grams
SciFit’s BCAA’s (Branched Chain Amino Acids) are formulated at the specific ratio to enhance absorption and muscle tissue recovery.

Purchase them at bodybuilding.com And no, I am not sponsored by BB.com or Sci-Fit.

UT, in my ON Whey there are already BCAAs which I consume PWO. Im thinking of just using 1 serving of BCAAs preworkout or during WO. Come mid-march when I try to lower BF Ill start megadosing like you say.

    Prada,

I actually prefer to mix it with my protein shakes or Cytomax
Sports Energy Drink Mix. I never drink it with just water as it tends to clump just a little bit and tastes chalky.

I also take my BCAAs always with L-glutamine powder as well.

From what ive read (online feedback) the general consensus seems to be that its a pretty decent product. That has the BCAAs and added glutamine and a couple other things to it. Honestly you could make your own as well.

Well you buy a bulk BCAA, all BCAAs contain the following
    Leucine
    Isoleucine
    Valine

    XTEND has added
    Glutamine
    B6
    Citruline Malate

So if you buy any BCAA and add you own ingredients in, as in glutamine, creatine or other aminos, whatever suites you.

As you can see K uses it as well she adds glutamine. Is it clear?

Shouldnt matter where you buy it. BCAA's are BCAA's. Anything else is a product where they add other BS to it. Just order BCAA's on their own and thats it. Its like asking what brand of banana's is better...they all come from the same tree, makes no difference at all. YOu just want leucine, valine and isoleucine in levo configuration.
