Why Glutamine Peptides ?
Why G-covery~?: Glutamine Peptides
Typical L-glutamine while usefull does not stay intact through the digestion process. The majority of it is detroyed by PH changes in the Stomach. Glutamine Peptides are not detroyed, and are allowed to pass into the intestine where they are absorbed through the lumen and then taken up into target tissues.
What will G-covery do for me?
1) Boost Immune System
2) Promote digestive health
3) Great for the Liver ( think orals, or alchohol)
4) Keeps muscles full and anticatabolic during PCT and Working out.
5)Lastly, glutamine peptides have the antioxidant action similar to 3-5 servings of fruit or vegetables based on ORAC (oxygen radical absorbance capacity) for vitamins C, E, and beta-carotene. Glutamine peptides offer 300 times more ORAC antioxidant equivalents as compared to free glutamine.
SOURCE ORAC INTAKES:
Vitamin E (500mg) 116
Vitamin C (500mg) 2830
3-5 servings of fruits and vegetables 1950
B-carotene (250mg) 300
Bound amino acid glutamine (5-7g) 3.5-5.4
Protein hydrolysate (10-15g) 1100-1650

and to be honest because of this feel its actually "Nuerotropic like"
its why Amplify 02 has some in it:

I dont feel it will have the same positive systemic immune system effect or muscle preserving effect of glutamine peptides.
why? Because the glutamine in glutamine peptides is in a peptide chain.
Not only is it intact when it reaches the gut, but it also is hydrolyzed gradually thus giving a true "stream" of absorb able glutamine.Last edited by Kaioken; 03-25-2007 at 10:31 PM.
