    Are all vitmamins the same?

    I was at GNC the other day and im looking at there vitamin supps and they are mainly in the 15-20 dollar range. Vitamin E 1000IU 18.99 for 120 caps... sounds decent. But today I was at my local military exchange and they have all the same vitamins and doses... for like 75% off the price... but its not GNC its a no name brand. 50caps of 1000IU Vitamin E is 1.99 there. So i bought em. They look jsut like GNC vitamin e... so my question is... is a vitamin a vitamin a vitamin? Or does it really matter on the company?

    I depends on the company, but usually they are the same excluding mg or grams per serving. GNC is a rip off, shopping at the exchange/PX is a good move or even the internet is better than paying high prices at GNC. Plus you are tax free on base

    And thats a common answer for people who dont know the answer to a question. What do you think I just logged on and typed in a question? I dont ask questions unless I cant find the answer myself.

    GNC Mega Men is great.. Animal Pak is great too as long as you don't mind swallowing around 13 pills some of which are huge. Does not bother me but not everyone can swallow big pills..

    I think almost all vitamins except Vit E

    Your E was cheap because you bought synthetic E (dl-alpha tocopherol)

    GNC is more expensive because they use Natural E (d-alpha tocopherol) although they sell synthetic and blended e as well,

    Go ahead and use the E you have now, when you run out, try a more expensive one from gnc or wherever and see if you feel a diff,
