They help prevent muscle catabolism. I take 5 gr before cardio and drink another 10 in sugar free drink mix with water while doing cardio. Use same mix while lifting and add them to my PWO

i am using the optimum nutrition 5000 bcaa's and so far it's great. No complaints here about it. I also take them with their 2222 amino acids. I think they are a great combo.
