    L-Arginine question

    i just purchased Horse power by ultimate nutrition i am going to be taking it when i wake up and post work out even when it says to take pre work out becasue it has 4000mgs of nitric oxide stimulators the reason i am taking it post woek out is because im usng it more of a creatine supplement it has kre alkalyn Cee and tricreatine malate in it to but i also bought straight up l-arginine and i want to take that pre work out but i dont know how much to take. They are 1000 mgs tabs would anybody no a good dosage to take becasue i dont want to overdose on l- arginine. Thanks

    I am used to do up to 8g of L arginine pure powder pre workout with no sides, only good pumps.

    ***ends whats you want to use it for. I would never use arginine just for "pumps" I mean imo whats the big deal if you feel a better pump? Doesnt really mean too much in terms of growth.

    I would personally take 5g 3-4 different times throughout the day:
    am
    pre-train
    post-train
    pm


    Arginine has other benefits besides getting a pump feeling, it also stimulates more release of GH in your body, hence the pm intake as well. Going over 20g a day probably wouldny do anymore good, as it is known to cause heart problems at even 18g a day in some people.

    If you do however just want to use it as a pre-training supplement go anywhere from 3-10g imo. Always working your way up to your highest dose is best as well. Dont start at 10g the first time. Also take into consideration the other supplements you may be taking with it.
    For example if you take full amino supplement before workout (a shake perhaps or liquid aminos) you will already be getting a couple grams, so dont do 10g more ontop of that.

    So there are a few things to consider.
