Low iron question

Hi there, dont know if this is a right thread to post...im asking it on behalf of my gf as her iron get low from time to time..she is taking the iron pills and eating food containing iron...but is there anything you guys on her can suggest from your experience and knowledge
and i forget she also wanted to start a Clen cycle is it alrite or it will effect hermore
