    Ornithine

    Can someone tell me about this AA? I searched and there was not much about it.

    Anyone supp with this AA or now what supps this may be in?

    its the proverbial "butter" to arginine (bread) lol

    it supposedly helps the body uptake the AA arginine ALOT better, resulting in better pumps!

    i used to take arginine/orthinine caps, but that got too expensive ...Its best in a 2 to 1 ratio (arginine to orthinine)

    I gathered that it was taken as a 'cocktail' with arginine from cursory research. What about your results? How long did you take?

    results were meh

    since then i have come to the conclusion that arginine does little in lieu of 'results' ie helping to build muscle etc

    for me ive found results to be purely cosemetic ie better PUMPS while at the gym...ya its cool to see veins poppin out everywhere but the cost outweighed the benefit

    personally id rather spend my $$ on something that will help improve my physique while im outside the gym (creatine, bcaas or FOOD lol )

    but if one of your main goals is to increase your vascularity arg/orth is a GREAT combo!

    Thanks...kind of figured as much.

    Reason I asked was I read an interview and Doctor was asked what supplements get closest to mimicking steroids. His answer...

    "There is arginine and ornithine and various other amino acids - glycine and glutamine - are non-banned substances used among athletes."

    Found that pretty odd for a doctor involved in bio-medics to say that.
